![]() Thats where your valuable time will make the most difference. I would advise your players to manual fight as much as time allows, and where time is short prioritise the fights with more troops (more to lose\gain) and/or that are harder. I agree with Mykan's classification on the types that are generally easier, but as he says, it constantly varies with wonder levels, barracks, training ground and mercenary camp levels, and even for elves and humans.Īs Horanda says manual fighting makes a big difference for any fight, but the difference is even larger for any ranged troops, the AI is rubbish at staying out of range of the enemy. The reason being that banshees are specialized HR killers and in fights with high numbers of steinlings the banshees will clear the field with fewer casualties than the sorceresses. Fighting in Elvenar is highly specific to individual city stage of development, troops unlocked and available, Ancient Wonder levels, temporary / evolving building boosts and so on. TedGrau said: I would tend to recommend training banshees more than sorceress. I'm afraid I don't have those %s to hand, but they are not effected by how close they are to your city. We continue our tutorial series on fighting in different Elvenar tournaments, and now is time for the Crystal tournament. The first tournament province will always use the same % of your squad size for all 6 rounds, the second a % a little higher than the first, etc. Distance is only a factor on world map, its irrelevant for tournaments. The results go both ways depending on the other enemies and the conditions of the terrain.Click to expand.I'm afraid thats incorrect Horanda. I fight every fight that gives me a challenge several times with different combinations of fighters, and I have never won a fight with Banshees and lost it with Sorceresses. We can add to that, that the Sorceress will do better in fights where you can expect to be hit more often by the enemies, while the Banshee will do better in fights where you'll be doing most of the hitting. Not to mention that the Sorceress's Broken Valor spell still gives her a 20% advantage over the Banshee's 80% defense bonus vs the Heavy Melee units. So In a Scroll province/tournament you will be asked to negotiate. And talking to members of my fellowship, over time, the number of relics you gain will never get used up, they just accumulate. Battle Units: Elves Battle Units: Humans Battle Units: The Enemy Provinces: Marble. The Bud Sorceress which can be unlocked at the end of chapter 7 is better than the Banshee I, and it is not until the middle of chapter 10 when the Banshee 2 is unlocked, that the Banshee becomes just a little more powerful than the Sorceress. EE 1 Marble, 1 Gem MM 2 Silk, 2 Gem IM 2 Marble, 1 Gem CC 1 Steel, 1 Crystal, 1 Elixir Plank, Dust and Scroll, which are my boosted goods aren't used by the magic academy. I found a post from June of this year here by Samidodamage which states: There is a higher likelihood. The tournament information seems to be especially out-of-date: Im not seeing the enemies Elvengems says I should. Yes the Banshees are better than the Sorceresses vs Heavy Melee Units, but at what point and under what circumstances? I know the Elvengems website has been having trouble keeping up with Elvenars changes for the past year or two. There are many great fighting guides in this forum, but the average player is overwhelmed by all the advanced details. I agree, but these guides and videos are meant to simplify fighting for all those players who become frustrated and think that fighting is too hard or too complicated.
